Why worry? We have you covered

Drive with confidence with our two protective cover options that span Excess Reduction (there’d be nothing to pay towards the repair or replacement of the vehicle if it’s damaged) and Roadside Assistance Plus (free support for breakdown assistance or common mishaps like flat batteries and locked-in keys).

Plus you can choose Personal Accident Insurance or Super Personal Accident Insurance for even more peace of mind.

Simply add Vehicle Cover or Vehicle Cover Plus when you make your reservation online, or speak to us when you pick up your car to add Personal Accident Insurance.

Windscreen Cover

Windscreen Cover is included in all cover packages for Avis Inclusive rentals and bookings into Austria, the Czech Republic, Germany, Poland and Switzerland, though an excess will apply.

For bookings elsewhere, Windscreen Cover can be arranged when you collect your vehicle.

Travelling abroad

Please note that cross-border journeys are only possible with the approval of Avis in many countries and with certain vehicle models.
Avis can also obtain authorisation by telephone if required. The contact details of your Avis branch can be found on your rental contract. A cross boarder of CHF 10.81 per rental day of the booking / maximum CHF 75.67 applies.
Company agreements may deviate from this. High costs may be incurred in the event of breakdowns or accidents if you drive abroad without consent from Avis. Further details on international journeys can be found in our General Terms and Conditions. We wish you a safe and pleasant journey with Avis.

Personal Accident Insurance

We’ve partnered up with AIG to offer you first-class protection for personal injury and emergency medical support and transport.

Do check if you’re already covered with your own travel insurance, but if not you can get a host of insurance benefits with this additional cover.
